Approval for JobAdder integration with SEEK phishing email

Summary: Scammers impersonate one of SEEK’s software partners, JobAdder, and send phishing emails claiming employers need to approve an account integration. The email urges recipients to click an “Approve the integration” button, which directs them to a phishing site designed to steal their SEEK login credentials.

Tactic used: Brand impersonation. Scammers impersonate trusted brands like SEEK and JobAdder to appear convincing. They register fake email domains with slight modifications  like adding an extra ‘s’ (e.g., @jobsadder) and changing the domain ending to something other than '.com.', to trick recipients into believing the message is legitimate.

Top recommendation: Verify any unsolicited email about integration approvals or other account actions with your account manager, SEEK or JobAdder before responding or clicking any links.
