Roles for Help Desk & IT Support in the Information & Communication Technology (ICT) industry attracted more applications than any other job on advertised on SEEK. With an average advertised salary of $59,759, it was the most popular job for candidates in Canterbury, Auckland and Wellington.

Other ICT roles to appear in the 20 most applied for jobs in New Zealand include roles in Telecommunications (11th) and Testing & Quality Assurance (15th).

The Hospitality & Tourism industry tops the list as the nation’s most popular industry for candidates with four different roles appearing in the top 20: Airlines (2nd), Front Office & Guest Services (7th), Waiting Staff (9th) and Kitchen & Sandwich Hands (19th).
