About the role   

Join our inclusive team as a Kindergarten Teacher, committed to delivering enriching learning experiences for children and families. Reporting to our Lead, this full-time role involves:

  • Leading, guiding, and supporting a dedicated team to ensure the provision of high-quality early childhood education and care.

  • Implementing and upholding the centre's philosophy in all aspects of your role and daily responsibilities.

  • Incorporating contemporary, research-based practices into teaching methodologies.

  • Ensuring compliance with Workplace Health and Safety, as well as Privacy and Confidentiality protocols.

  • Offering support and assistance to the Director and Approved Provider/Management Committee.

Experience and qualifications    

  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood education or a related field, along with relevant certifications or qualifications in early childhood development.

  • Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Asthma Management Training

  • Valid Working with Children Check and Police Check

  • Current Accreditation VIT Registration

  • Demonstrated work experience in New Zealand applying knowledge of child development principles and milestones for children aged 3 to 6 years to inform curriculum planning and nurturing teaching practices.
