Long description    

About the role   

Collaborate in our team of 10 as one of our experienced and knowledgeable Laboratory Technicians. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with the following duties & responsibilities:

  • Adhere to policies & procedures as set out in the Laboratory's quality management system

  • Conduct sampling and testing in accordance with company process & national standards, ensuring that this work is independent plants asphalt manufacturing

  • See that the laboratory is kept in a safe, clean & tidy condition, and that equipment is maintained and in good working order

  • Uphold the security of the laboratory and its confidential records, ensuring only staff and approved visitors access the laboratory

  • Report all non-conforming product test samples in line with quality procedures & store them until their related issues are resolved.

Experience and qualifications    

  • Prior experience in compaction with Nuclear Density machine

  • Full NATA Accreditation

  • Working knowledge of the contents of ISO/IEC 17025

  • General competencies for testing & calibration laboratory work

  • Ability to work with minimal supervision within a small team
