About the role   

Join a team of 8 as a passionate and dedicated Barista, reporting directly to our Cafe Manager. This casual job opportunity, offers 12-30 hours per week available, including some weekend shifts. Duties and responsibilities include: 

• Brew and prepare coffee, espresso, tea, and other beverages according to customer preferences and established recipes 

• Offer great customer service by warmly welcoming customers, taking orders, addressing inquiries, and ensuring everyone leaves with a smile. 

• Serve meals to customers and handle orders using our POS cash register when needed 

• Keeping the work area clean and organized, including wiping down counters, sanitising equipment, and disposing of waste properly 

• Collaborating with other team members to ensure efficient service and maintain a positive work environment

Experience and qualifications    

• Proven work experience as a Barista, proficient in making all types of coffee 

• Familiarity with POS cash register 

• Shown ability to work autonomously 

• Prior work experience in stock control 

• Coffee art skills are advantageous though non-essential
